Since 1997, you’ve been coming to to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Going on a Trip

I just graduated from college and, I am going to celebrate, my husband and I are going out to California starting tomorrow and I'll be gone till midway of next week.  I'm going to take the opportunity to reconnect with old friends who moved out there.  Everyone have a great time while I am gone.

By the way, on other news X Play agreed with me that Borderlands 2 is the best game of the year much to the dismay of a friend of mine that's all about xbox 360 and is seeing red that his beloved Halo lost.  Though I haven't played Halo cause I'm not a xbox player from what I have seen on youtube it's too short and that's probably why the game didn't win compared to Borderlands 2 which seems never to end and they added more missions such as the pirate dlc that I reviewed and recently Mr. Torgue Arena of Carnage and get this there's two more dlc stories slanted to come in 2013 as well.

I am planning to have a xcom match with a friend of mine while I'm at California and, he posts on youtube so the match might end up on the internet if it does, I'll send a link to that later.  By the way Xcom is a turn based strategy game that you play as either Earth defending our planet or Aliens who are invading.

Help me down the crooked road. Lead me to the light. I'm not sure I know the way but with you beside me, I'm certain we'll make it through.
