Please say thank you to Stephanie Cowell

Stephanie this month has been very enlightening in many ways

You've shown us the man that Monet was and what made him become one of the most prolific painters of his or any time

You've shared your precious time with us, answered questions and furthered our art education

It's been really a pleasure to have you on board with us and please accept this invitation to stop by, say hi, tell us what you're up to any time you'd like. I know we would all love to hear from you.

Thanks very much to Deb and everyone in this community! It's been a pleasure to hear your thoughts about CLAUDE & CAMILLE! I''m back to work on a new book and hope to send everyone good news on that by the autumn! Have a lovely spring and summer with all your books!

Re: Please say thank you to Stephanie Cowell

Stephanie, this was the perfect fusion of history and fiction--neither got in the way of the other and so I enjoyed both! (That's very seldom true for me with historical fiction.)

I could not believe that you had already created a "Monet Walking Tour" on your website.  I began talking about your book and impressionism with my friends and . . . our next trip to Paris (and Giverny) may be next March/April!  Whenever it occurs, we will definitely attempt to follow your guide in tracing the steps of Monet.

Thank you for your book and your additional insights during our discussion.  If Monet's life did not happen as you imagined it to, it should have; and in my mind, it will always have happened just as it did in Claude and Camille.
