Re: Weekend Reading

What's everyone reading this weekend

I'm going to try to read Jim Kaufman's new upcoming sequel to The Collectibles

this one's due out this summer sometime  and called The Concealers

Then to get ready for my Monday discussion I'll be reading this week's schedule of

Friendship Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

So share what's on your reading plate this weekend?

Yes!  This was my first book by her, and I loved it.  I also went ahead and bought "The House at Riverton" during the 50% off sale.  I'll save it for later.

Right now I'm reading the second book in the Jane Perry series by Laurel Dewey.  "Protector," the first in the series, was a Free Friday selection awhile ago.  You may have read it.

I'm reading Jamaica Inn by Daphne Du Maurier now, and I'm loving it despite the fact it's not what I would normally read.

Re: Weekend Reading

Sunday was pretty scarey, but has been pretty calm since then.  We have a chance of thunderstorm from Wed. though Mon. though.

Thanks for posting this one.  I've never read any of her books, but being an Alfred Hitchcock fan, I really should.

Re: Weekend Reading

I read Rebecca a few years ago, and loved it.  Then I read her short story collectin The Doll, and loved it even more.  I'm really enjoying this one as well, I'm almost done with it.

Re: Weekend Reading

Well it's almost time for the first holiday weekend of the summer for most of us me included.

I'll be starting the holiday early taking off tomorrow to go antiquing with my mom and my daughter

I'm trying to tie up my required reviews two of which I've been anxiously awaiting they are:

Emperor of Thorns

and

Quick Fix

then I'm off to read an author request, many of you will remember James Kaufman from when I featured his novel The Collectibles   well his next in The Collectible series is coming out and it's called

The Concealers then I'd like to read somethings for pleasure not sure what yet

What are you all doing and reading for the Holiday?
