Debbie, do you want us to vote by sending you a private message?
Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are.

This book gets my vote. Since it is a B&N recommends, I hope it might pull some new people into the forum for the discussion. B&N used to offer on-line discussions of the B&N Recommends books and I really enjoyed them.
Reading gives us someplace to go when we have to stay where we are.

I'm going with this one - I like the idea of a tie in the story between the past and the present. Although, I must confess, I really like the idea of the Lisa Jackson book, and I think I'm going to pick that one up, regardless.

Ooops - forgot to mention - my daughter goes to Smith, which is one of the 5 colleges in the Pioneer Valley and includes Mount Holyoke; I'm interested in getting the author's view on that area and college. Just a personal aside here.... It's nice to see a book that has a personal connection, of a sort.

I'm sorry to say I won't be participating in the book for the month long discussion, but I'll be glad to add my two and a half cents to this one....maybe some days just two, and maybe some days I might go as high as three...one never knows! ![]()

Our September New Reads choice is the B&N bookseller favorite
I'm still waiting to hear from the author but I'm not holding my breath
Our feature starts Saturday
