This book gets my vote.  Since it is a B&N recommends, I hope it might pull some new people into the forum for the discussion.  B&N used to offer on-line discussions of the B&N Recommends books and I really enjoyed them.

Re: **VOTE** September New Reads feature

I'm going with this one - I like the idea of a tie in the story between the past and the present. Although, I must confess, I really like the idea of the Lisa Jackson book, and I think I'm going to pick that one up, regardless.

Ooops - forgot to mention - my daughter goes to Smith, which is one of the 5 colleges in the Pioneer Valley and includes Mount Holyoke; I'm interested in getting the author's view on that area and college. Just a personal aside here.... It's nice to see a book that has a personal connection, of a sort.

Chris Bohjalian has been to theB&N boards twice, years ago.  He was delightful to talk with.

I'm sorry to say I won't be participating in the book for the month long discussion, but I'll be glad to add my two and a half cents to this one....maybe some days just two, and maybe some days I might go as high as three...one never knows!  :smileyvery-happy:
