Thank you so much, Deb.  Now I can add them to my wish list in order!  There is nothing more exciting to me than being introduced to a new author (well, new to me).  I think I know how I will be spending my summer!

You're very welcome Catherine, and I'm excited to introduce you to a new author. I'll be waiting for you to let us know how you like the series. I think you will really like Taylor and you will see how she matures as a character as JT settles into her series, here are the reviews I've done for the series

All the Pretty Girls (Taylor Jackson Series #1)   http://thereadingfrenzy.blogspot.com/2010/09/review-of-all-pretty-girls.html

The Immortals (Taylor Jackson Series #5)  http://thereadingfrenzy.blogspot.com/2010/09/review-of-immortals.html

So Close the Hand of Death (Taylor Jackson Series #6)  http://thereadingfrenzy.blogspot.com/2011/02/review-of-so-close-hand-of-death.html

Where All the Dead Lie (Taylor Jackson Series #7)  http://thereadingfrenzy.blogspot.com/2011/09/review-of-where-all-dead-lie-by-jt.html

And please note that I Do Not give spoilers in my reviews.

OH MY, wasn't there a fabulous movie done, based on "All the Pretty Girls"?  If that is the book WOW.... I sat on the edge of my seat through the whole thing and about had Fred in a strangle hold by the end of it.  Didn't sleep well that night either.... In fact that movie still is one that I will watch if it comes on TV.

A really good book is much like an artichoke. As you peel back each page of the of the book, you get closer and closer to the succulent heart of the story.

BTW--I'm not waiting until the end of the week:  I'm starting Part II tomorrow night!

Ginger,

I freak at the sight of snakes... you should have heard the "high C" I hit when I saw it.   Fred says that I am OCD when it comes to snakes.  I'm not going to disagree.

[ Edited ]

Yes, Deb, thanks for the list!  I just bought the first of the Taylor Jackson series, too!  Soo excited!  I may have to begin another author/series shelf on my NOOKs.

Now, on to Part II.  I'm definitely going to be observant, watching for those "big worms*" that JT slips in so subtly.

Re: Week One Discussion of A Deeper Darkness

Well we're getting ready to close out week one and it's been a lively conversation.

JT I hope you've enjoyed the back and forth you've caused with Sam and your characters I know the group here has, I also hope you enjoyed BEA.

JT you told us in your interview that Sam just spoke to you that she needed her story told, was she a difficult character to re-invent.

The rest of you I hope you find more twists and turns next week, don't forget that JT is here with us so please if there is something you want to know ask her.

here are some more flood pics

Re: Week One Discussion of A Deeper Darkness

Thanks for the additional pics, Deb.  I have enjoyed this first week.  Off to find the key to the safe where my NOok is stored.... I have some reading to do.  A special thanks for introducing us to JT.  I wonder why I hadn't discovered her before.  She is fantastic.

You're welcome Muse, good luck finding that key.

Now the thing is not to wonder why you never heard of her but the fact that you've found her now. :smileyhappy:
