I'm absolutely horrible with actors/actresses, so I'm just going to leave it at I agree that Dakota Fanning would make a great Juliet.

Kirsten Dunst for Ally

Other than that, I'd say avoid the Twilight cast and those general Disney stars. Those actors and actresses would make this a very tween-focused movie, and I think the power in the book wouldn't really make it through with them. I like the idea of a cast with a few unknown actors and actresses and some more mature 20-somethings playing a few of the characters just to draw the audience while maintaining the novel's power.

Sam could be easily Nina Dobrev,

Rob versus Jensen Ackles (I know it, not so younger for the role, but I thought about him due to his role in Supernatural)

Ken could be Taylor Lautner or Ian Somerharder (for seeing him changing from his villanous role)

To Lindsay's role would be perfect Charisma Carpenter.

the ages of the "group" is too far apart. you do have a good idea with Elizabeth Reazer and ashley leggat though!
