Hunger Games and Catching Fire were excellent.
I will be at the store to get the 3rd one that day.
Here is a discussion of those books, it is a thread from the Fantasy/SciFi board here -
Hush Hush was very unique with the angel thing going on.
It was a First Look book here following is the link for that board. There was a lot of good discussion.
It was a fun group to discuss with. I love this cover

I have heard a lot about the Percy Jackson series, I will get that in my list.
Thanks for the recommendation.

I agree that Hunger Games and Catching Fire were great reads along with Hush, Hush. I want to read the Percy Jackson series before seeing the movie. I hate seeing the movies first because it kind of ruins the book for me, but the other way around is fine. Is that weird?

I really need to find time to read the first two. I keep hearing amazing things about them but I can't ever seem to get them read. I like the cover of the third tho.

I just watched "The Time Traveler's Wife" last night. I was so hestitant about seeing it because I loved the book. It is one of the few that have earned a permenant spot on my bookshelf and that I've read more than once. I am glad my last rereading was awhile ago so that less inconsistancies stuck out to me, but overall I think they did a good job with it. I was a bit surprised about just how much had to be cut out to make it into a movie. Has anyone else seen and/or read it?

I love, love, love this book!!! I have read it at least 3 times. And I found that I got so much more out of it when I read it the second time. It seemed to make more sense.
I saw the movie also even tho' the movies usually don't measure up to the book but I just had to see it. I think they did a good job with it and I did like it. I saw it in the theater and will watch it again soon on DVD.
I have also read this author's newest book, Her Fearful Symmetry, just cause I loved TTW soooo much. It was very good also. Quite strange, but good. All I gotta say is, Audrey must be a little odd herself to come up with these unsual books. But I love them anyway! And Stephen King is one of my favorite authors, speaking of odd. ![]()

I just finished a GREAT YA book! After reading this book, Before I Fall, I was looking for another great YA book and I found Heist Society!
Although it is a very different type of book, the main character in this book is not dealing with the typical teenager stuff that Sam deals with, it was a great book! Loved it!

Vermontcozy (Susan) asked if I could post a link here to an article Ilana Simons wrote on visiting Japan and Murakami's Studio.
The last time I "lost" this, RTA was kind enough to find this for us. Now, I am glad to return the favor for others:
Ilana's Journal Week 47: My Month in Kyoto: Possessed by Haruki Murakami

VTCozy I'll reply if I receive my copy. I sent PaulH an email and I'm expecting his positive answer for another copy if possible. As I enjoyed Hush Hush very much I was anxiously waiting for another Young Adult Reading. Thanks for your attention.

So I just started reading a new books (which I won't mention here because I don't want to stop others from reading it, as they might enjoy it) and I just can't finish it. This has NEVER happened to me before!!! I usually pick up a book and can't wait to finish it, but I just can't get through this book! Has this ever happened to you guys? If so what do you usually do in order to get through the book, or do you just leave the book half finished.
