Re: IMPORTANT: Schedule Change (PLEASE READ)

Does anyone else have a hard time sticking to the reading schedule?  When I really like a book I want to keep going and feel like the stops are an interuption of the flow.  Whiel I do like that stopping makes me think more about what I've read I find myself anxiously waiting for the next set of questions and discussions to be up so I can go on.  I can't wait until Monday so I can read on!

I, too, have a hard time sticking with the schedule but I am making myself do it this time.

When I read Eternal on the Water, I read straight thru but then found that I was not as focused on the current chapters questions and discussions. This time, I am taking time to read over the postings for the first 2 chapters.

My reward to myself will be reading the next section on Monday. I am anxiously waiting for Monday when I can drive in and devour more of the book. My family has been notified!! :smileyvery-happy:

Yes! I have already finished the book because I couldnt stop reading it. But at the same time I feel like I should have waited cause now I'm having to try and remember what I was thinking before I read chapter 3. If I do another FL I will have to pace myself.

Re: IMPORTANT: Schedule Change (PLEASE READ)

I do find it hard sticking to the schedule, but do it so I can hypothesize and guess. I also keep other reading material available so that I have something else to get into.  :smileyhappy:

Re: IMPORTANT: Schedule Change (PLEASE READ)

I try to stick to the schedule usually but this time I just couldn't. I had to finish it. I took chapter notes so I can keep my chapters separate and help myself not drop spoilers unintentionally.

Re: IMPORTANT: Schedule Change (PLEASE READ)

I also kept chapter notes while reading, and made notes of my thoughts and predictions while I was reading so I could contribute what I would have had I not gone ahead. I am a fast reader, and this book kept me interested so much, it was even hard to stop long enough to take the chapter notes.
