You know I must have Thanksgiving Turkey Fog--I reread everything and you said enrollment will begin between 12 and 1230--I thought it was a limited 12 hour thing --where you were trying to hold down the amount of participants by having a twelve hour window---honestly, I think I need to go to sleep--but that being said---I am sooooooooo looking forward to the book and the book discussions. I am very grateful to B&N
for this amazing club, especially when you live in Michigan and the winters can be very long.

Hi deannafrances,
At first I stumbled on the phrasing too. It said, "Enrollment will open between 12:00 and 12:30 EST." It must have meant that enrollment will begin around that time and not "Will BE OPEN between the times mentioned."
deannafrances wrote:I enrolled at 1 16 am on Dec 2 --did you really mean that enrollment was only for that short twelve hour period--I have been in several at least six First Look and as I have some mobility problems I truly look forward to these books coming and reading the discussions. Please, assure me that I made it in time!!

Well, I'm glad we solved the problem - separately from each other. It does look like a good book and it promises to melt away Michigan snow.

I just signed up for a copy of Eternal on the WAters...I hope I wasn't too late and you're all out of them...I also hope I didn't mess up my chance because at the end of my info I put a sentence about how I'd love a copy of it...:/ I just recently discovered this bookclub and am so excited to have found it! I read Truly, Madly which begins discussion on 12/7, but I would sooo love to start a new book as well! I have chronic health problems and spend alot of time in bed reading...and am now elated to have people to discuss my readings with! lol...Anyway...congrats to all who get the ARC...and I'm crossing my fingers and toes that I get so lucky as well!!! ![]()

The only way a sentence at the end of your request would effect your eligibility is if it said something along the lines of, "the Administrator is a know-nothing blowhard!" ![]()

Paul, (as I'm wiping coffee off of my monitor) how could anyone ever think of you as a blowhard. Hard headed, maybe. Opinionated, definitely. But a blow hard, NEVER!!!

Here's my secret little tip....
I cut and paste the email address and subject line provided by B&N into the appropriate fields. This requires opening two separate windows (or tabs) in my browser, but it elminates those pesky formatting issues.

@maxcat: upper right corner of teh page -- white rectangle with the words "[your login name] : Logout : My Profile : Help." It's right underneath Help.
I haven't gotten a confirmation yet. However, I do believe that I read somewhere that it could take as long as a week to process. Is that correct? I'm looking forward to reading and joining in the discussion. However, if it wasn't meant to be, I'll jump on the next one ![]()
