This book is full of life.  It overflows with nature, both in myth and reality.  It is a book steeped in emotion.  It tells what could be a melancholy story in a unique way and fills the story with joy.

Lovelylynni - I totally agree with you about the review. My review wasn't horrible, but it wasn't nearly as great as some of the others that were posted. I read the entire book in just a few days before the first day of the book club (it was my first and I wanted to have the entire book read before the discussions began), but I wasn't totally thrilled with the book. By the time the author came to the boards for questions, I had read 11 other books (most of which I enjoyed far more than ETOW) and couldn't find any questions to ask because I didn't care that much about the characters. I found that the book was readable, I just didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

One of the biggest annoyances with the book (there were a few, but this one was just sing-songy that bugged me) was the name Dean Halloween. For the person that posted the name may in fact be Hallowen, it looks too much like Halloween. The name Dean Halloween annoyed me every time I saw it, and I wished that the author could have chosen a different last name for that particular character.

I'm finding more to post about in this review section than I did through the questions.  I have mentioned before that I was one of the minority who didn't like this book.  I agree that I found it readable and there were moments when I thought I was getting into the characters but it didn't last.  I will work harder in the future to post my thoughts sooner so that we get these contrasting opinions out.

This book was wonderful...the last couple of chapters really drew me in.  I can't wait to suggest it to customers in my store.  It's a true story of setting free those you love.

Twelve out of ten stars.  This book was easily the most beautiful book I've read in a long time.  There were several instances in which I had to set the book down as it had touched me so deeply.  The author lovingly crafted such beautiful characters and detailed their romantic relationship into a love story that is simply divine.  We should all be so lucky to find our "Yeti."  Thank you for this novel.
