This is one of the best books I have read in a while. I don't normally read books about nature so, for me,
it was an enjoyable change of pace in that respect. I honestly don't know that I would have chosen this
book on my own knowing that Huntington's Disease was a pivotal part of the story. I am glad I did read
it though because there was much more to the story and I ended up very much enjoying it.

Whoops! I'm a shade behind-hand with Eternal on the Water but I have a review up at my blog and I've copied the text into the product page.
A very lovely book. Thanks to all.
I read and knit and dance. Compulsively feel yarn. Consume books. Darn tights. Drink too much caffiene. All that good stuff.

Here's a link to my review---sorry it's a little late, but we've been without a computer/phone or TV for the past week due to snowfall in Pittsburgh.

I enjoyed the book once I suspended my disbelief. The book caught me as I moved past the unreality of the early chapters. A good read.

I've just finished posting my review. I thought this was a thoroughly enjoyable book! I have a five month old daughter and I was willing to lose precious hours of sleep just to read this book! I have already given my advance copy to my mom to read.

I posted my review on the product page and on my facebook account. Is there a way to put the picture of the book on facebook. I am fairly adept with computers, but can't get this one right.
I really enjoyed this book.

This is one of the BEST books I have ever read.
I am typically someone who likes a happy ending, and Mr.
Monninger lets us know from the beginning where the road
would lead (not my typical Happy Ending). The journey, though,
was so entertaining, thought provoking, entertaining (yes, I say this twice), moving,
and beautiful that I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
I have chosen this book as my next Book Club selection, and so will read it again
in April with my club. It is the kind of book that can be read again and
again.
I would recommend Eternal on the Water to anyone who is looking for a modern day
master work-for this is what I think Mr. Monninger has created.
