Hi, I'm Beth, and this is my 2nd first read experience.

I live in Pittsburgh.  I'm a legal secretary by day, and an avid knitter, crocheter and reader when I'm not working.

Looking forward to participating with you all in this book's First Read!!! :-D

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi, I'm Katie from Charlottesville. I've lost count of how many First Look selections I've participated in (I missed the last two: things got really busy for me in the past six months, but I just passed my oral exams and don't start my dissertation till the spring so I've got a bit of a break). My favorite First Look so far has been

The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane. Looking forward to starting up again (and to catching up on the two I missed when they're published!).

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi everyone,

My name is Margot. I'm currently in northern California for the winter. Since I retired I'm just traveling around the country.

This is my fifth First Look book. My absolute favorite so far is The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane. I just can't forget that one. I'm looking forward to reading the next book. I've purchased stock in the Kleenex Corporation so I can cash in on all the crying I know I will be doing.

Hi Everyone!

My name is Nikki and this is my 2nd First Look. I just finished with the Postmistress, which was GREAT, and hope this one is just as good! Really excited to have found something like this book club... and to be back again!

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi, I'm Chris otherwise known as maxcat. I just got my confirmation! I'm intrigued by this book and hope it will exceed all expectations. I haven't participated in the book club for about a year as I got into knitting and crocheting. I hail from Charlotte, NC and no, we didn't get any snow this weekend although the mountains to the west received 3-5" of snow. Good business for the ski operators up there.
