Hi everyone!  I'm excited to be part of another First Look.  I just logged on and found out I've already been confirmed.  That was quick!

This will be my 6th or 7th FL discussion.  I love to read and have really enjoyed the discussions.  It's nice to see some familiar names.  For the newbies, extending a warm welecome!

Welcome to the group, Monica! You can create a signature by going to "My Profile" then clicking on Personal Information. It is located in the box you use to sign into the book clubs. While you are there, check out the other tabs. There are lots of things to fiddle with and learn. Nice blog.

Hi! I am Ellen from a town in Connecticut. I love to read, enjoy hiking and spending time with my daughter and our pets. The First Look bookclub has turned me on to authors I probably wouldn't have read & now I look for more of their writings. .______________________________________________________________ Welcome Ellen, . Isn't it the truth, FL can turn you into a regular bookoholic. LOL There isn't a room in my house that doesn't have books; in bookcases, on chairs and stacks by chairs, etc. Oh, and I always keep paper and pen near to make notes. It is the good life. Hi, I'm Carolyn from northern Virginia.  I have been part of the First Look since Songs for the Missing.  I love this club!  The discussions have been lively and interesting and I've been exposed to several books outside my "comfort zone".  It's been a real joy being part of this club.

Hi Everyone!

I'm Paula and I live on Long Island with my husband, my two children (one away in college and one going very soon) and my wire fox terrier, MacIntosh. I work in a Kindergarten Center where I am in charge of the library. My favorite things to do are read, knit and nap...usually in that order! I have participated in 5 other First Looks and 1 Sneak Peak and I have enjoyed every one of them. I am so excited to be confirmed for this selection...it looks like it will be right up my alley. And by the way Paul...kudos on the super-quick confirmation this time...I have never been confirmed so quickly! Usually I stress for at least a week, obsessively checking my private messages (maybe I've shared too much-) Anyway,

I can't wait to get started. I'm sure I'll see many "old friends" on the message boards.

I'm Sandy and I live in Macon, GA.  This is my 3rd FL selection and I have loved each book so far.  I find it interesting that all three books have some common elements.

 Under This Unbroken Sky and Eternal on the Water seem to have a great deal to say about the natural world and the effect that this has on relationships.  The new selection and this one have New England as a setting (for at least part of the book).  Am I starting to analyze already??  I will look forward to this discussion.  Thanks, Barnes and Noble!

Hi everyone! It's always nice to have the First Look Book Club start up again. After being away for awhile, I miss being a part of this club so much that I start to feel like I'm having withdrawals! My name is April and I live in a small town in Nebraska with my husband and our new puppy, Barney. This book looks really good (like so many of our past choices!) and I can't wait to begin reading!
