Still waiting for my book.  Patience is a virtue, right?  Anyone else not got theirs yet?  I was confirmed on the first day, was just wondering.  I live in Las Vegas I know it's taking longer to get it if you live on the west coast.

I am glad the book got to you before the discussion begins this time.

I am glad Barnes and Noble is looking out for you.

I always enjoy your posts and comments on the books.

Re: Community Room

Hello old and new.BNers,my Hush,Hush is in transit.....in the mean time, the trailer was great, and Becca's Bio is real...We have that Beautiful Curly hair Thing going on,and embracing it,finally...its quite liberating, and not being the only one that has read Nancy Drew under the covers with a flashlight, surely others have read what they liked the same way,,,So glad BN picked her up as a FL.She seems very deserving and talented..Post office in town..tomorrow....maybe,I could be lucky....Thanks Paul,Vtc   S

Re: Community Room

I just finished Hush, Hush and i never in m wildest dreams thought i would like this book as much as I did! It's an amazingly fresh story and I fell in love with the characters! I didn't ever think I would find a book better than stephenie meyer's twilght series but Hush, Hush came INCREDIBLY close.... I really hope that becca continues the story of nora and patch with a sequel.... I will most definately be one of the first people in line to buy my copy... :smileyvery-happy:

Re: Community Room

I finished the book too.  I loved it.  It was not too predicatable, and I thought she gave us a nice little twist.  There is a lot of sexual tension that goes on between Patch and Nora.  They were two memorable characters.  It should make for some good discussion!

Re: Community Room

Keeping in mind its a teen book, what age do you think the sexual tension is appropriate for?  (I haven't started reading yet.)

Hi my dear pen21,

I'm glad you are happy for me. I do really like this interaction here at bookclub, these previous discussions about readings in a general way, informally. I also accompain your comments even without declaring this. But now you know it LOL. I have no complaints about BN. I always had the best treatment here and now my books are received before discussion begins which too much more comfortable for me because I can read the books without any kind of worries or hurry up!
See you soon in the discussion and don't forget to continue following us in the First Look comments!

Re: Where do you read?

My most favorite place to read is on the beach! But since that is not very often, as I don't live there, it is at my pool, in a chaise.

When I am inside, I usually have the TV or music playing just for  background noise.  I like coffee, hot tea, chocolate! Yes, that would be a chocolate stain in my book, but as you can see, I love my book!

The best place inside is on the couch, with a fire going, the rain softly coming down, and a comfy blanky over me!

Reading is to the mind what exercise is to the body.

Re: Community Room

Mmmmm, one never knows..but given the age group of the characters,it seems quite appropriate...Sexuality  is everywhere...just depends on the person and how they perceive it.and the comfort level of the YA...I just received it this Am,started reading it about 1:30..jst finished Chap.5...it is certainly holding my interest..a very lively discussion.will be had...YEA, Vtc

Re: Community Room

In Hush,Hush pp. 233-236 were upside down and inverted in my book, but what I'm really upset about is p. 237-238 is completely missing!  Is this in everybody's copy, or just mine?

Hey Paul, not sure where to post this. I have 10 pages missing from my book. It jumps from 162 to 173. I am not sure if everyone has this as I'm jumping a week ahead on the schedule.

Re: Community Room

You're certainly not the first case of this, Bonnie. I'll see what I can do. Stay tuned.
