Re: Link to New Ending (Spoiler -- Obviously!)

I was so confused when Becca told me there was going to be a different ending. But I am really glad now that I have read this. I think that it sets the reader up for the next installment perfectly. Also that was just a great ending, very HOTT.  I can't wait to see what happens with Patch and Nora next.

Certainly either ending suggests a second novel. :smileywink:

Re: Link to New Ending (Spoiler -- Obviously!)

I just finished reading the book. The ending was so good, but this new one is amazing. I really want there to be some sort of sequel!

Oh, wow. I never knew there could be such perfect endings! I absolutely loved the first ending, but this one is amazing too! Those few simple lines reminded me just how much I love Patch. =)

I loved the ending in my ARC. I'll definitely have to get a hardcover copy now...

Re: Link to New Ending (Spoiler -- Obviously!)

I like both endings and it would be good if they could be combined, the line about his new job in Security is just to good to leave out!  I'm looking forward to the next book

Wow, I thought it was going to a longer remake of the ending but it just a little bit of a change and I like it. I can't wait for the 2nd one to come out :smileyhappy:

I loved the ending in the ARC, but I like this one too.

I think that the ARC ending was awesome as a stand alone book, but since there is going to be a sequel *squeeee* I think this new ending is better for that.

Re: Link to New Ending (Spoiler -- Obviously!)

I just finished the book and had to run to the computer to read the alternate ending.  I must admit I like the ARC ending better.  It seems more thought out and put together than the new one.  The new one just doesn't leave too much to the imagination.  (Although it is fun to read how Nora gets a little more aggressive by pulling him to her!)

This ending is more steamy but I find the first ending more enjoyable it really made me laugh.

Re: Link to New Ending (Spoiler -- Obviously!)

I loved the ending of the ARC but upon reading the teaser new ending; I loved that as well.  Especially for setting up a  sequel which the original ending did but not as well.  Guess I'm just a sucker when he comes to a good book with great characters and an excellent author!:smileywink:

Re: Link to New Ending (Spoiler -- Obviously!)

Finally BN is letting post a message I've been trying for so long. I love the book it's so great. Both the ending are awesome. The ending in the arc books was good I thought it left room for a second book. I didn't think it really needed to be changed.

Reading can only make you more happy and smarter. :smileyhappy:

Re: Link to New Ending (Spoiler -- Obviously!)

I think this is a great lead in to another chapter (book, whatever) in the story.  However, I am still not thrilled with the way this book resolved itself.  After meeting Nora and falling in love with her, Patch's ambition was to become human to be with her.  I still think that should have been what happened.  Maybe I'm the odd one who wants the happily ever after, not the happily ever yes I am here but will have to watch you grow old and die because I'm still an angel.  Maybe the 2nd installment will lead to more character development and complete story lines...

Ah but see Starie, that is exactly what makes a great author. She/he doesn't end the story how you would have liked but still you want to read the second installment to see what happens.

Re: Link to New Ending (Spoiler -- Obviously!)

Seems like there's a mix between those who like the old ending vs. the new ending.  I actually like that, since a little part of me is still attached to the old ending :smileyhappy:

BINGO!

I thought the ARC was kind of -- cliched, maybe?  I liked it well enough, and it didn't change my overall thought of  the book. That being said, I did/do like the 'new' (original?)  better. MUCH better.  More...........
