Link to New Ending (Spoiler -- Obviously!)

I prefered the original ARC ending. Is this new ending going to be the one in the final version on shelves? I think it's a little cheesy.

Mmm... it's THRILLING!! That's what i love. The original ending was great, but nothing really happened, maybe if Patch giving something to Nora like a promise ring for him to be always there for him or saying something really... i can't find a word for it? heh... Then it would have been way better. I dunno? = /

Finished reading the novel last evening, and am curious to see what happens in the following novels. I had forgotten about Chauncey, and really liked the way that he was reintroduced into the novel. Unfortunately, the link to the alternate ending will not open on my laptop, but I'll be looking forward to the next entry in to the series. I'll also be telling the media specialists that I work with about the book, so that they can add it to their list of books to possibly purchase this year. Nice job, Ms. Becca! Movie deal is sure to come your way!

That is so not fair, but it does make it interesting for the coming out of the second book.  I just finished Catching Fire which ends with lots of questions, so maybe I am just bitter.  I cannot believe I have to wait another year for the next book of either series.

I actually laughed and rolled my eyes a bit at the first (advanced copy) ending because I thought it was a little cheesy.  This second ending seems straight up perfect for Patch's character: demaning and domineering and of course Nora falling for it every time.

This is definitely more of a teaser making you want to know more about Patch & Nora.  I can't wait for the next book Crescendo.  I'll have to agree with "peacelovevegan" It will be a long wait.

I can't wait for Crescendo! I love this ending (even though the original is cute too), because throughout the book there is suspense between Nora and Patch while we wonder if they are going to kiss or not, and while they do this is the first time we see Nora actively engaging in the kiss.

I liked the original ending better.  I think the irony of him being her guardian angel and that is his new "job" was just the right touch.  I am not sure her mom would have just let her walk out of the house with him like that.

I also liked the original ending better; the irony was just funny! but that wouldnt be a bad start for a sequel!

Totally agree with you nicole21WA!  The ARC ending leaves more to the imagination.  It left me smiling but I could also envision a sequel.  I thought it showed more creativity.

I'm going to quote Bruno here and say the new ending is "NICE."  Love it, makes me wish the second book would be released sooner. The ARC ending is sweet, the new ending is hot.

I think the new ending is actually the oringal ending Becca wrote.

I actually preffered the ARC ending. I loved the irony of him revealing his new job in security and ending it there. It was a nice way to end things for the first book.

The new ending is also really good, but I personally found it a bit cheesy, the way it was written. xD I don't know.

I just found out that there is going to eb a second book called Crescendo, Becca Fitzpatrick herself said it! I am so excited, I loved this book!! I made my best friend read it and she loved it too! Loved the new ending!

i loved the ending in the ARC, but when i read the new ending i loved it. i cant wait for the second book. but i guess i have to. 1 full year left to go till the second book comes out =( .
