Hi, I'm Natalie.  I am a 28-year-old stay-at-home mother of 3 very little kids.  Reading and writing keep me sane.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi!

I just received my confirmation and am looking forward to reading Hush, Hush. This will be my 6th first look and I have enjoyed each one for different reasons. I am not a YA but I love to read all types of genre.

I live in Bucks County PA with my husband. I have 2 daughters. One works for the University of VA for 5 deans and the other is studying to become a vet at The University of PA. My daughter's 3 rescued cats live with us (Mr. Zebra, Mulch Box and Blackberry). She has also rescued 2 Australian cattle dogs (Mattie and Oscar) who live with her and her husband.

Looking forward to all the discussions!

Eadie, I have to ask...how did the one cat come to be named Mulch Box?  That's a very unique name :smileyhappy:

Re: Welcome and Introductions

I just wanted to let Stewie's Mom know, you're not alone!  I'm also in my forties but still love a good story and am looking forward to this book. ...:smileyhappy:
Hi all, I'm Stewie's Mom and so far it looks I'm the oldest participant.  I'm in my forties, but I still love YA.  Like many other posters, I LOVE Harry Potter and the entire Twilight Saga.  I haven't lost my inner child (I think children's books and YA are some of the best written stories available) and am intrigued by this story.  Looking forward to posting with everyone!

Hi all!

I'm Theresa, 16, and about to be a junior/senior in high school (I'm graduating a year early so next year will technically be my senior year). I LOVE LOVE LOVE to read and write.

I am taking AP Lang and AP Lit next year to help me graduate early.

My favorite books are: The Lovely Bones and Lucky by Alice Sebold, Three Little Words by Ashley Rhodes-Courter, No Time for Goodbye by  Linwood Barclay, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky and so many more.

I do animal rescue and have an adopted dog right now named Mitzi.

It is my dream job to work in a book store :smileyhappy:

I'm very excited about this! And still figuring it out so please forgive me..I'm new at this!

edited to add: I also LOVE LOVE LOVE piercings and tattoos, hence the pretty_in_ink.

Mulch Box was an outdoor cat who loved to do his business in the mulch. His nickname is Mulchy. Mr. Zebra (Zebie) and Mulchy are brothers and they both weigh around 20 lbs. each. My husband called them "The Big Guys".
