For those of you keeping track of the books spreading across the country, my book arrived this morning to Charlottesville, Virginia.

Karen, have you decided how we're going to discuss the book (in linear sections, by themes, by characters)? It would be helpful to me to know, so I can decide how to read the book. There's no rush, as I have a to-read stack that would probably hurt me if it fell on top of me.

I'm so happy you've chosen The Believers! Whether you're new to Heller or you've read some of her previous works, I think you'll enjoy this one tremendously.

I'll be posting the discussion schedule by the end of the week so stay tuned! Like last time, we'll have concurrent discussions for those who are reading incrementally and those who want to read straight through and then discuss. (For those of you joining First Look for the first time, this will make sense when you see the schedule  )
