If you want to see if its been read yet, just go to your pm's, check in the "sent" part, if its black, they have not read it yet, if its grey, they have. Sometimes it takes a day or so to get read. But just check it like any other private message sent and you can tell.

Thanks, Vivian! I'm still fumbling through the learning process. It does look as though it's been read. I'm hoping this goes back to you as a PM to be sure I understand how THAT works!

Actually as you may see, it is on the board lol. That's ok, if you want to send me, or anyone a pm, click on my name where it will let you and you will see my profile (none lol) and a line that says, send this person a private message. Then it will send it to me. I will reply to it in a pm when I get it. When you hit reply in here, even tho its to my post, it is replying to the post, not me really. Click on my name by this post and see if you get it, right click it and it will open in a separate window too. Same with pm's, which I always prefer, so I can still see the board while I pm. I will be looking. Glad you saw yours was read, now you can rest easy about that.

The registration actually doesn't go to me, and if you sent it via PM on this site, it arrived.  I wish everyone who wanted to could participate, but unfortunately, the number of books is limited, so "lottery" it is.  I think Amy Dickinson is great, too, and I'm certain Queens is going to be a great read.

Hi there! My name is Lorna and I just got my email saying that I will be included in this book club! I participated in two first look book clubs before, but the second one I wasn't able to post but still read the book. I am the mostly single mother to an amazing 11 month old boy. My husband is in the military and he has not been home for more than a few weeks at a time in over two years. It has been hard but I am looking forward to him being stationed in the states where our son and I can go live with him soon. I am hoping that this book will keep me ocupied while I wait for his return! I'm really looking forward to it! So glad I will be included.
