A First Look Badge for Your Site or Blog

Thanks, everyone, for the great customer reviews of The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane, and the great conversation here this month.

There has been such enthusiasm for this book that we had our designers come up with this nifty badge that people can post on their blogs or websites, letting the world know they got a First Look here in the Book Clubs.

I Got a First Look at Barnes & Noble. Get Your Copy Now

If you want to add the badge to your site, just copy the code below into your blog or web page. It'll render the badge, and link back to the product page here at bn.com so that your friends and readers can get the book, too.

Even if you don't use the badge, be sure to tell your friends and family about The Physick Book, which pubs in June 9!

Here's the code. (Make sure you get the whole thing.) If you can, let us know where you've posted it.

Installed on the blog :smileyhappy:  It's in the left column between the Twitter widget and the Netflix widget.

Re: A First Look Badge for Your Site or Blog

Thanks for the badge!  I posted it on my blog in the right hand column under the text which lists the books I have just finished reading and the book(s) I am currently reading.  You have to scroll about halfway down the page to see it.

I must admit that I am new at blogging, but am trying it. I posted one about the book but couldn't get this badge to work. At least my review and the book's site are there for now while I continue to learn about how to add this. What a great idea. My new blog is http://bookworm56.blogspot.com/

This is too cool.  I just posted the badge on my 75 book challenge thread on Librarything.  Soo happy to spread the word about this book.

[ Edited ]

Thanks for the badge. I posted mine in the right side bar by the list of books I'm currently reading. This is my first First Look. The experience has been fantastic. Great fun to read a great book and "talk" about it with others.

Re: A First Look Badge for Your Site or Blog

I joined LibraryThing some time ago and never got around to doing anything on it. Last week, I finally catalogued most of the books that I have on my B&N profile page. These are only the books that I have read - the TBR pile is not catalogued anywhere and at the moment it is only 41 books. After updating LibraryThing, I took a look at the profile page and noticed that one could indicate a personal web page.

After this discussion and the many interesting blogs that I have recently visited, I was inspired to try one for myself. The task is now to maintain it and keep updating. I have started out with the review of TPBoDD and am still in the process of customizing the site.

I have added the DD badge, a link to the Physick Book site and a cover picture to the site.

My probie web site is One eyed stuffed bunny and ... and can be found at the following link: http://oesbunny.blogspot.com

There is a story behind the name. As a child, I had one of those stuffed bunnies that you would get from let's say a circus. It was yellow on the back, pink on the front and stuffed with those hard tiny styrofoam pellets. He was a much loved bunny and had many adventures. His head was permanently turned to one side (not made that way), he had no ears, one eye and patches of no 'fur'. When I went to college, he stayed home. When I graduated college and moved, I left him behind. When I am feeling nostalgic, I wish that I had saved him. So, I name and dedicate my blogging attempt to him - just bunny.

Maybe a should post a blog entry about him .... that would keep me posting.

I just got my badge and added it to my blog: http://epifaniasvirtuais.wordpress.com/

Great idea to spread the fantastic writing of Katherine Howe and the future First Looks.
