Re: How to Get Your Free Reading Copy and Enroll in the Discussion

I signed up on the 18th, received my confirmation yesterday, the 23rd, and received the book in the mail today! Very surprised to get it so quickly! I love the cover and it definately adds to the excitement of the story inside. I'm sure those that haven't received their books yet will get them soon.

I bet as soon as I post this, the book will come in the mail.  (I actually hope that is what happens!)  I am so trying to be patient!!!  Jersey Angel where do you live??  Duh!  Maybe Jersey???  I want to believe it happened quickly for you because you are closer to the warehouse  or something like that!!  Because I signed up way before you (3/11) and was confirmed 3/18 and still no book!!!  But I am in the midwest (MN) so I want to think that might explain the difference/delay.  Anyone else (im)patiently longing for the UPS truck's arrival???

Re: How to Get Your Free Reading Copy and Enroll in the Discussion

I am starting to get worried. I received my confirmation on the 16th but haven't received the book yet. I wish there were a way to track the books to find out if there is a problem. But, at least I have other things to read.  =)

That just means that you're in, and you'll be getting your book with the next mailing.

Thanks so much. I was confirmed on the 16th and other people reported getting their books, so I began to wonder. I'll just wait! :smileyhappy:

Re: How to Get Your Free Reading Copy and Enroll in the Discussion

I've only done one other First Look, but what happened with that one was that you received it in order of where you live. East Coast got theirs first, then a day or two later Midwest, then West Coast. I'm Midwestern like you (Iowa), and I'm betting ours will be coming this afternoon (or at the latest, tomorrow afternoon)!

Re: How to Get Your Free Reading Copy and Enroll in the Discussion

I hope I am not too late for sign up!  For various reasons I have not been able to get online till today!  Hope to get a confirmation soon- or receive the book before I get the PM (that has happened before!)

Re: How to Get Your Free Reading Copy and Enroll in the Discussion

Hey guys!  I signed up for the book on the 10th, got my confirmation on the 16th and have not received my book yet.  I live in central jersey - anyone else in that area still waiting for their book?

I'm trying to be patient but I live in a condo and the UPS guy just leaves packages on the doorstep and I'm just worried someone else may have gotten it!

Re: How to Get Your Free Reading Copy and Enroll in the Discussion

The book has made it to Northwestern Washington state -- about as far from New Jersey as it's possible to get and still be in the continental US.

The sun is shining beautifully, I'm supposed to be out mowing the lawn this afternoon, but guess what might happen instead!

Looks like the CA books should be arriving soon, then.  It's always so fun to have a package arrive....particularly when it's a book!  I've cleared my place on the hammock...ready to enjoy the sunshine and a new book.  Looking forward to it!

I'm jealous it is still way cold in Massachusetts to even think about being out on a hammock!

My hammock is still in storage for the winter -- even with the sun brightly shining, 51 degrees with a breeze coming right in off the Strait is a bit brisk for me!

Plus, I don't want to disturb the three pregnant deer that are feeding in my hammock area.  We're hoping at least one of them delivers here, since we usually get one or two sets of babies each year.  They are SO cute and adorable!

Re: How to Get Your Free Reading Copy and Enroll in the Discussion

Is it just me or does it seem like the first to sign up and receive confirmations are the ones still awaiting their books?  I signed up on the tenth and was confirmed on the eighteenth and still waiting.  Someone suggested a geographical mailing, but people all around me and even farther than me have received their books.

Is there someone who could perhaps check to make sure the people who signed up earliest weren't left off the mailing list?  *EGADS! Perish the thought!*

OK it appears the east coast people have gotten their books...the CA (and the FL) people have not...let us not grow weary in waiting!!!  If this helps at all, my friend (who by the way signed up way after me) got her book today but I did not. BUT she lives 3 miles EAST of me!!  So the books are rolling across the midwest!!!  They must have stopped delivering today at some boundary line between us.  So I hope that is the case and that tomorrow I will receive my copy!!! =)
