I wonder how much a womens role has changed in the minds of the present generation. Aren't we still judged more harshly and expected more of than men? In our own hearts and heads, do we still ask perfection of ourselves rather than of men? Perhaps we are fighting ourselves rather than others.
Yes, I agree with you. When men are called assertive, proud, independant etc.; they are being complimented.... When a women demonstrates the same qualities, she is called names that are not complimentary.
