This was a fantastically amazing book. I just only finished the other day because my mom kept making me put it down and took it for a week or so. -sigh- wish I could've finished earlier to participate in the discussion.
But thanks for the opportunity and I will most definitely recommend this book to everyone I know.
Happy reading to all.

This was my first First Look experience and I couldn't be more pleased. The book was so good that I actually slowed down in reading it so I could just savor it. It was wonderful to be able to ask questions of the author and read all of her answers. And, then to read the various viewpoints of all the participants - Wow, I am a very happy First Look member and will be back again and again. Thank you Barnes and Noble.
I agree Joyfull - I found myself slowing down to savor the book too. I know I'm really into a book when I start to slow down reading it so it won't end!! Also, about half way through I couldn't stick to the reading schedule because I wanted to know what would happen next. I'm looking forward to the next First Look - always an enjoyable experience!

This was my first First Look and what a great experience! Not only did I really enjoy the book as I was reading it, the number of thoughtful posts and the author's perspective provided a depth that I don't get in my (very small) book club.
Thank you, B&N, for the opportunity!

I'd like to add my thanks as well! I really enjoyed the book and the interaction among the book club members.

Thank you Katherine Howe for a wonderful book! Thank you to Barnes & Noble for the opportunity to be the first to read a great book and have the opportunity to discuss it with so many as well as to get to know the author and editor. I look forward to the next First Look!

This has been such a great experience for me. Thanks to Barnes and Noble, Rachel the moderator, Katherine Howe. the editor, and my fellow First Look club members. I enjoyed reading this book and discussing it with all of you. This discussion was by far the most spirited of all the First Look books.

Thank you B&N.com and PaulH for a wonderful reading experience.
Thank you, Rachel, for the great discussion questions and your participation.
Thank you Katherine for writing such an excellent, thought provoking book and sharing it with us. I cannot wait until the final copy comes out in June, as I want one to keep.

Thank you Barnes & Noble and Paul, Maria, and Rachel for arranging the opportunity for us to read Deliverance Dane and for moderating these boards. I especially want to thank Rachel for her insightful questions and discussion. This has absolutely been the BEST First Look that I have been involved with.
I also want to send a HUGE thank you to Katherine Howe. Without her participation in the discussions, this would not have been the same! I think that I can speak for the majority when I say that we really enjoyed our interactions with Katherine!
I am looking forward to next week and finding out what our next selection will be ~ but I doubt that you will be able to top Deliverance Dane!
Thanks again for finding us such a delightful read!!

Adding my thanks to all involved in another memorable FL book, Rachel, Katherine, Paul and all the FL posters who offer amazing posts which enrich the experience. Somehow FL continues to get better with each selection. It's exciting to think about what you're going to come up with next. And to D & MSaff. It's been nice seeing a husband and wife share and discuss this novel together.
Both DSaff and I love to read, in some cases we have differing subjects, which intrigue us. This latest novel was wonderfully written, and gives us a chance to explore Salem while on vacation next month.

I want to add my ditto to all the thanks that have been given here, to B&N, to Katherine Howe, to Rachel and Paul. As an old time first looker I have enjoyed each and every read that was presented to us even if the book didn't quite make it for me the conversations always did and sometimes changed my mind by letting me look at things from a different perspective.
This book hit all the bells and whistles for me, not only was it a great book but the conversations with all of you and with the author, editor and moderators were wonderful.
So I want to especially thank all you fist lookers for making this a really exceptional experience this time around. I hope to see you all around for the next installment as I'll be there with bells on.

Thanks to all of you who make the FL book club possible! From the B&N staff who select the book, to the moderators, author, editor, etc., you provide the opportunity to not only get to know the book but also the author. Thank you. This is an awesome opportunity and I can't wait to see what is next.
I can't add anything to this- well said!
My sincere thanks to everyone that makes FL possible!

I also want to thank everyone that makes these First Look discussions possible. Unfortunatley school was a little more demanding than I thought it would be these last few weeks so I wasn't able to dive into the discussions as I had wanted to. But I'm going to be blazing through posts for the rest of the week. I did finish the book, now I just need to get the abundance of thoughts I've had on this one down somewhere. :-)
Again thank you. I love this program and I am looking forward to another great one next time :-)

Many, many thanks for such a successful First Look Book Club. Hats off to Katherine Howe for writing such a terrific book which spurred our great discussion here.
We'll be announcing our next First Look selection next week, so keep your eyes on the boards!
Many Thanks to B & N and Katherine Howe for giving us this First Look opportunity!
Last weekend I noticed the stack of work that has piled up during my participation. I may have to sit the next one out just to catch up!
