What is Mike Bowditch like?
To me, Mike seems like a good guy who tried to be the dutiful son and to follow the path that his mother wanted him to take, but in the end, needed to follow his heart and became a Game Warden because of his love of the outdoors. I think that Mike is torn about his dad. He loves him, but he also feels abandoned by him.
What about his father?
Jack is a guy who doesn't care about the law, only about living his life as he wants. He loves the woods and passed that love on to his son.
