Re: Welcome and Introductions

I'm Del from near Toledo, Ohio. How much do I love mysteries? One of my dogs is named agatha.

This is my first try on FL. Just heard about it a couple of weeks ago when I was checking out Nooks.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hey everyone!

My name is Kayla and I'm very excited to start this First Look. Right now I'm participating in the "Before I Fall" First Look and this looks like another great read. I don't usually read mystery novels, but the ones I've picked up have been fantastic. I'd love it if this novel brought me back into the mystery genre . . .

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hello from cold and snowy MN!

I love mysteries and I'm excited to be a part of a Mystery First Look!  I started out reading mysteries with the classic Agatha Christie!  My tastes have expanded a lot since Sleeping Murder, but there's nothing better than a good mystery to curl up with in the winter.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi Everyone! I'm April and I live in Nebraska with my husband and our six-month-old beagle, Barney. I've been in many of the First Looks and have really enjoyed them. It's such a terrific opportunity to get others' insight on the book I'm reading. Keeping my fingers crossed that I get a confirmation!

Your initial post here brings up a question I have had, but keep forgetting to ask the moderators.

Who picks the selections?  Just wondering if the moderators have a list to select from or how that works?

Re: Welcome and Introductions

One quick way to check is to look at your "sent messages." To do that, go to your In box (the envelope under your name on the right side of the page). If you see a message to Poacher-Son, then you sent one. If not, then something didn't work. You should receive confirmation shortly if all is well. There will be a message in your in box.   :smileyhappy:

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi everyone!

I'm a high school student from NYC and VERY excited about this book.  This will be my second time participating in a First Look discussion and am now reading (and enjoying Before I Fall).  I grew up on mysteries, my favorite books when I was younger were Nancy Drew, Hardy Boys, and Agatha Christie books....unfortunately, since those days, I haven't read many mysteries....but I absolutely CAN'T WAIT for this one! Anxiously awaiting my confirmation!!!

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hello everyone,

My name is Claire and this will be my first, FL discussion. I am a fan of all kinds of books, but I am really into things that have to do with the supernatural. Mystery books are also one of my favorite genres. I am from Pensacola, FL home of some of the United States most beautiful beaches. I look forward to discussing this novel with you!

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi

I'm Ann & I am from Western Massachusetts.  I haven't read a mystery in a long time (not sure why), so I'm really looking forward to this.  I just finished reading Eternal on the Water for FL Bookclub and last week we met at the local B&N store for fiction bookclub after reading The Book Thief.  Next up for B&N local book club is The Vanishing Act of Esme Lennox.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi,

I"m Sandy from Macon, Georgia.  I love being a part of the FL community and I am a mystery lover too.  This sounds like a great read!

Is this a part of the original FL book club or is it a special one for mysteries?  Love it either way!
