I've posted my review on this site as well as my blog.  By the way, anyone know how to make paragraphs show up on the Barnes and Noble site?  It's been making me crazy for a while now.  It always shows fine in the preview, but combines into one paragraph once it's posted.

I have really enjoyed the First Look books and this is no exception. This is one of my favorite books so far. Thank you for letting me participate in this book club.

This book was off to a slow start and it never recovered.  As a debut novel, the author has to grab the reader.  I read where some complained about the jumping around.  My two favorite war type novels have down that but with success..The Corner of Bitter and Sweet is an example of drawing you right into the story on the first page. The other was a little longer for the grab...The Gurnsey Literary and Potato Peel Society. 

A story of three women from different cultures and places has a great potential for a good read and the author did a great job of describing the events and scenes....just need to work on the grab.

I am personally tired of waiting until page 100 for a story to appeal to me.
