Debbie, I just read your review on The Postmistress. You did a great job of telling how good this book is. I don't think my review was as good as yours.

You got  to the heart of this book. This book give us just a small glimpse of what happened before Pearl Harbor. I love this book and recommending it to my friends and will suggest it to my library director.

I am so glad I got to read this book. I love this First Look Club. The books we get to read are great. I don't know how Paul chooses what books we get to read but I know he will keep up the great work.

This book has everything that makes for a good historical fiction read --- unique characters, an interesting moral dilemma, and lots of period detail.  Readers of historical fiction, especially those with a particular interest in World War II, should not let this book pass them by.
