I just finished The Serpent's Tale, the second book in the Mistress of the Art of Death series. I'm listening to Twilight and reading The Mermaid Chair and Dead Matter.

My copy of The Wake of Forgiveness came in today!

Re: Has anyone already started?

My book is still waiting for me to start. I usually wait until the weekend before the discussion begins to start reading because I try to read with the schedule. Happy reading to all!  =)

"Deeply, Desperately" is on my TBR list. I enjoyed the first one through the Sneak Peek program here and can't wait to have time to read this one.  :smileyhappy:

I have started, but only a few chapters.  It's a good sign when the first few pages really draw you in and you start to "see" the characters and the landscape.

I am just now about 1/3 thur The Serpent's Tale; I am finding this series really interesting.

I read The Mermaid Chair a few years ago and I also really liked that book.  It's one of those stories that sticks with you.

When I read Truly, Madly, the first thing I thought was that it would make a good TV series.  I even wrote that in my comments for Sneak Peek.  Hopefully, the author will follow up on my suggestion!

Re: iPad????

 Hi Pepper.

That is a good point, but one nice thing IPAD added is a slide adjustment you can use to

tone-down the screen as needed for your comfort.  So far I haven't had a problem and I've been using it since it came on the market.  But you are also right about Kindle and Nook, the screens are easy on the eye.

For me, I do a lot of late night reading (bad sleeper) so the backlight keeps the room dark for anyone else either watching TV or sleeping. :smileyvery-happy:

Well at least we have choices now, so that's a good thing.
