Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. On May 1, we’re saying goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Re: Thanks to Bruce, Adrienne, and the group!

This book was great for promoting a lot of discussion.

I really enjoyed this book. It was one of those books that really cause you to think about hardships and cruelty.

Thanks to Bruce and Adrienne for joining us.

Kudos to Bruce, etc. for putting out a work of art. The images created by Bruce were so believable as to put the reader there in Texas in those time periods. I enjoyed the book and I hope it is a stunning success.

Re: Thanks to Bruce, Adrienne, and the group!

Thanks so much for what has once again been such a rewarding experience.  It's so nice to actually be privy to the author's insight and to be able to discuss the book with others.  Each time I come away with so many different thoughts and ideas that never even crossed my mind when I read a particular passage so it is like reading the same book 20 different ways! Thanks Bruce, Adrienne and BN for such a great read!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to preview TWOF.  Bruce, if your book tour brings you towards central NY, I'll be sure to see you there!  Best of luck to you and Adrienne - hope to see you on the best seller list.

Thank you, once again, Barnes and Noble for the awesome read.

Thanks to First Look and B&N for the opportunity to read a great book.  Thanks to Bruce for sharing so much of himself to help us understand how and why he wrote this particular book, and also thanks to Bruce for slaving over every phrase - it paid off!  Bravo!

Hi Bruce and Adrienne, and Everyone in First Look,

I wanted to take this opportunity to Thank You for allowing us to read "The Wake of Forgiveness."  It was a little out my normal genre, and you allowed me to expand my thoughts.  Bruce, you have a special way with words.  Good Luck and I hope that "The Wake of Forgiveness" does well.

It was a pleasure both reading and discussing the novel with everyone.  Thank You All.

Re: Thanks to Bruce, Adrienne, and the group!

Thanks to Paul and Rachel for your hard work in managing this latest First Look discussion.

Thanks to Bruce and Adrienne for allowing us an early look at TWOF and joining in the discussion.  Bruce, thank you for sharing your "baby" with us.

To my fellow FIrst Look members, thanks as always for a lively and thoughtful discussion.  This book was outside my comfort zone and not exactly my cup of tea.  However, being part of this group forced me to look at different angles of the story, which is always a rewarding part of reading.
