Note about confirmations

Hi! My name is Emily and I currently live in Baltimore. I am happy we are getting a book and not an ebook. Although I am loving the portability and convenience of my nook, if we are going to discuss a book, I want to be able to flip through the book quickly to find quotes. It just is not the same on the nook.

This looks like an interesting book and not something I would have necessarily picked up otherwise. That is the best part of this book club, getting exposed to different types of books.

I look forward to discussing this book with everyone.

I have been here for most of the First Look selections since the beginning (almost).  I have been absent for a while, but it looks like I picked a good time to come back!  I am glad to see so many familiar names and glad to see so many new ones also!  I am looking forward to reading this book and joining in the discussions.  Can't wait to receive the book and get started.  Looks like we are going to have a great group!

I think you will like it too. I just got confirmed and even though I have been a part of the First Look before, it is always a thrill to get confirmed. I think it is wonderful that we have so many new people joining this one. I can't wait to start reading and chatting with everyone.

The FL is very addictive but also a disappointment when it concludes.  But then we start over with a new book.  Just as long as the cycle keeps continuing.  You will see, we are a very friendly group.

I'm thrilled to be in on this First Look.  I only recently became a member of the forums and have been reading an ARC by Ken Scholes.  I love reading (and discussing!) and am trying to get in as much as I can before starting the last half of my Bachelor's degree in October.  I am a stay-at-home mom to two little boys (ages 1 and 3), Navy wife of 7 years and obviously a student.
