I signed up today.  I'm really excited about this group. I received my nook for Valentines Day and I've rediscovered my love of books!

Re: About The Writing Circle and Corinne Demas

I ordered my Nook during the first "wave" and I got it just before Christmas.  For the past several years, I had mainly been listening to audiobooks; but like you, my Nook has reignited a passion for the printed word.  Where I go, my Nook goes.

This selection sounds really good.  I find myself wondering if we will be introduced to a writing style similar to Maeve Binchy.  It certainly sounds like a great character study to me!

Re: About The Writing Circle and Corinne Demas

I don't have a nook, or any other type of reader.  I have a desktop computer but don't want to have to sit at it to read a book.  Sadly, because the book selection sounds wonderful, I will have to sit this one out.

Re: About The Writing Circle and Corinne Demas

Thanks to Paul and Barnes and Noble for letting us try a digital First Look.

I am excited to try a First Look on my nook.

I will be interested to hear how those using the Barnes and Noble free eReader on their PCs like the experience. I have used it to read and preview books.

The Writing Circle looks like a very interesting story and another great choice for First Look.

Thanks Luanne

Re: About The Writing Circle and Corinne Demas

Hi Everyone

I'm looking forward to reading this book.

No I'm not happy about the format, I like (love) the paper book, but I'm not going to ignore the new either, so here is my chance to try it with a book I believe will be good.

I'm using my BN ereader until future must have and/or finances allow the Nook into my life.

Thank you Paul for another great sounding book.

It has been a looooong time since I have been able to participate in the FL Club. I, like 'no4daughter' will not be able to participate for the same reasons :womansad:.  I know the Nook is reasonably priced, but unfortunately not for me at this time. HAPPY READING EVERYONE!!!

Thanks Paul for responding to my message regarding a hard copy.

Re: About The Writing Circle and Corinne Demas

I bought the nook the first week it came out and am very excited about this book. I usually just read thrillers. This is a good chance for me to experience different kinds of literature.  I can't wait.

Borrow someones laptop (or netbook) - flip it on it's side - and you have a pretty decent portable e-reader.

Re: About The Writing Circle and Corinne Demas

Anxiously awaiting the delivery of this e-book.  I have been an e-book reader for years now, but just bought my Nook a week ago.

This will be the first ebook club in which I have participated -- great way to kick off my summer reading!

thanks Paul!

Re: About The Writing Circle and Corinne Demas

I am really excited about this digital book club.  I love, love, love my nook; I got it in February and have had the best time downloading and reading.  The newest software upgrade made it even better and now the book club will really add to the experience.  Looking forward to receiving the download.
