Thank you, Corinne, for writing a book with some very colorful characters. It's been a lot of fun and I hope you will always remember us with fond memories. I will definitely look for your book in Barnes & Noble so I can finally get a chance to hold it and turn the pages. Oh, how I've missed doing that!

Dear Literature--
Thank you for your insightful and generous review. I'm so glad you enjoyed analyzing the characters, and I hope book clubs will heed your recommendation.
I'm posting my farewell remarks this evening. Yes, I'll have fond memories of you all!

Got my review on the blog done;http://balletbookworm.blogspot.com/2010/06/first-l
I read and knit and dance. Compulsively feel yarn. Consume books. Darn tights. Drink too much caffiene. All that good stuff.

I've posted my review on the product page.
This has been my first First Look experience; I've really enjoyed it. Thank you B&N and Corinne Demas--and everyone else involved-- for the opportunity.

I enjoyed this book very much. The opening scene caught my interest, and I didn't have too much trouble keeping track of all the characters. I read a few other reviews where people were complaining that there were too many unanswered questions at the end...I wil admit that when I finished the book, I too was wondering:
- What happened to Chris and his kids?
- What happens to Kim after she witnesses the accident?
- What does Adam do once he hears the news?
However, these unanswered questions did not affect my enjoyment of the book. I was riveted throughout, and stayed up WAY too late on several occasions because I couldn't put the book down. I would recommend this book to others and am now interested in reading some of the author's other works.

Also, I enjoyed the ebook format...I have been reading ebooks for about 6 months, and find them much more convenient than physical books. I am much more likely to read a few pages here and there as I have time during the day when I'm reading an ebook as opposed to a hard copy book.
I did not have any trouble following when we were reading Corrine's words vs. the characters' words (i.e., when one of the members of the Circle were reading their passages aloud).
For those of you using the ereader app for iPhone/iPod Touch, I prefer to read with white text on a black backgroud...I find it easier on the eyes.

Sorry to keep you up late-- but of course I'm happy to know that my novel was riveting.
If it's any consolation, I stayed up very late many nights working on it.
I'd love to hear what you imagine to be the answers to those those unanswered questions--
Everyone?

I enjoyed "The Writing Circle", even if I didn't get to join in on the discussion. I had a hard time actually reading it on my iTouch. It took me awhile to adjust the display to no give me a headache. I will post a link to my review! Thanks once again for an interesting read!

Hi Liisa--
Sorry it was hard to read on your device. I'm happy there are still good old fashioned books, too, and am hoping we'll always still have them!
So glad you enjoyed The Writing Circle.

Thank you for the pleasure of reading your book.
It was a hard read at the beginning and then towards the middle it became a book that was hard to put down. The end was so sad and it left me with mixed feelings. I felt Paul's death so deeply.
