On a side note, I have to say until I get myself a Nook, I don't think I'll sign up for anymore digital First Look offereings. It was just too hard to sit in front of my computer to read a book. It took me alot longer than normal to get throught the book reading that way. Maybe a Nook will be on my Christmas list, but until then I'll stick to the physical book.
I appreciated the opportunity to read this book electronically & hope B&N offers more First Look selections for the Nook in the future. Thanks also to Corrine Demas for a great reading experience.
I am so sorry this is late. I tried reading it on my computer and after a few pages I would get a headache... I got a Nook on Thursday though, so I got a chance to finish it :-) And I'm happy I did...

The Writing Circle hasn't been one of my favorite reads this year, and when I have a mixed opinion, I tend not to review the book on my blog, etc. I wouldn't have reviewed it here, but we were required to (though I will admit that my review on the main site is anonymous). I just don't like saying things that will make other writers sad or make someone who might want to read a book decide not to. I think everyone should have their own opinions and if someone decides not to read something because of my opinion, I'd be very sad. As a writer myself, I'm super-conscious of this fact. I hope this review works for you; I mentioned positives, too.
