Re: About Three Seconds and the Authors

thewanderingjew:  did the utube video have the same effect on you;  the authors faces were played as some type of true crime story would unfold on the evening news;  rough, concentrated on their expressions, and how harsh they looked the role.  Police figures or criminals on the 'most-wanted' list.  The background was dark, and not much visual effects to the lighting

Thanks for the utube video.  I felt like I was back in the Stig Larrsson series.  Work is too busy right now to pull all nighters but I have a feeling sleep will be put on the back burner for this selection.  Even though I know it's too soon, I keep looking for my UPS delivery every night when I get home.  Well, every day is one day closer to receiving it.   See you in the discussion.

Re: About Three Seconds and the Authors

I just viewed the utube video where the auhors gave a synopsis of their book Three Seconds.  Now I am even more excited to be included in this FL read and can't wait to get this book in my hands! The darkness of the setting where the authors spoke set a dark tone for the novel.

WooHoo!  I got my book today too!  I am right in the middle of another book that I can't put down (Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese).  I'm going to have to finish that it even quicker so I can get to Three Seconds.  Looking forward to chatting with you all!
