Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi Everyone,

Three seconds sounds like a terrific read. I love thrillers. I live in North Central Florida near the Goethe Forest. I've been in other FIrst Look Clubs and they've been great fun with good discussions.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hey everyone  I GOT CONFIRMED already!  I am excited.

Started to talk up the book with the honey today.  He said it would be nice and suspenseful as well.

Looks like some new folks- which is always nice to get onboard & some old (relative to time not age) friends in the group.

WELCOME everyone.  Back to critiquing the VIXEN- what a great read that has turned out to be.

This is my 3rd FL book & I am so excited to be reading at such a nice pace, and with friends who love to talk  :smileyhappy:

Re: Welcome and Introductions

I would have to also agree with you that getting confirmed and notified almost immediately is so much better than waiting weeks. So Paul thank once again for the great job you are doing for us the FL book club.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

I agree with how generous Barnes and Noble has been. Thanks you so much for this kind of opportunity which has brought me to new worlds and adventures...all for free. The books have been a valuable addition to my collection and when I like them I certainly do recommend them to others and have lent them to family members.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi fellow readers, I hope you are all well and that it is as sunny where you are as it is here today in Washington.

My name is Tarri.  I am retired and live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, where we are heading into six months of reading weather.  Since the Farmer's Almanac has predicted we will have more snow than usual, I will have lots and lots of time to read.

I have been fortunate to be able to participate in almost all of the First Look book discussion and marvel at the high caliber books we have been given.

I have two very large dogs and live in the work-in-progress farmhouse where I grew up.   My hobbies are reading, crafts (right now it's knitting), farming on facebook, and lawn mowing ten months out of the year.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

I am a fan of both Stieg Larsson and Henning Mankell so I'm really excited to read this one.  As a library worker, I love doing reader advisory and this could be a good one to recommend for readers who have already exhausted Larsson and Mankell.

Hi everyone!!

I am already WAY behind here.  Here's to hoping I am confirmed!

My name is Lisa and I am a HS Special Ed-English Teacher in NC, just outside of Charlotte.  I have participated in many First Looks.  This one looks to be quite interesting!

OH-  I am also a reader-mod in the Classics, so I invite you to hop over and jump in, start your own discussions, whatever!
