I'm Stacey and I am from Southern Cal.  I love reading and always have my nook or a book with me at all times - never know when you'll get a spare moment to read!!!!  This will be my 3rd first look if I am accepted!  I hope I will be!!!!  Looking forward to reading this book - it looks awesome!!!

Hello!  My name is Lynn, and if you guys accept me, this will be my first First Look.  I'm super excited about it.  I live in North Carolina, and I'm a home health nurse on third shift.  Since most of my patients are sleeping and I'm mostly watching monitors and intervening when needed, I get a LOT of time to read books.  I never leave home without my nook or a good hardcopy of a book to keep me company!  I'm looking forward to participating in this First Look, and hopefully more in the future!

Hi all, This looks like a great group. I've never done a First Look discussion but I did do some book groups back when B&N University existed and loved it. I'm Lisa in Ann Arbor -- a great little city. I'm a part time engineer, a part time writer, and a full time mom. I can't wait to get my hands on the book. I've been reading mostly ebooks lately and I somehow miss holding the real thing in my hands. But don't even try taking my ereader from me.

I'm Lakeshia from Hampton, Virginia. I'm an avid book reader. You will always find me with a book. My favorite author is Stephen King. I've been a fan of his since I was 10. I'm a drama girl but I enjoy reading novels by Kristin Hannah, Janet Evanovich and Patricia Cornwell. I'm a fan of the Millennium Trilogy by Steig Larsson. If Three Seconds is like those novels, I will definitely enjoy it. I hope that I do receive a copy so I can start reading it. I look forward to discussing books with you.

Hi everyone!  I'm Carolyn from northern Virginia.  I have been part of the First Look club since the 4th or 5th book.  It's been a wonderful experience reading books outside my comfort zone.  Some of my favorites were books that I probably would have never thought of reading on my own.  I look forward to what looks to be another interesting book and discussion.

Hi to all the new and old friends I see here. I just love the First Look program (thanks Paul and B&N) it has opened my eyes to literature I wouldn't have chosen for myself and so broadened my horizons as well.

It looks like a great geographic mix and I'm always excited when people get excited about reading and of course you can tell by how many posts I've made here at B&N that I LOVE B&N as well. To those new folks be prepared to open a new chapter in your life too and don't forget while you're here at B&N to check out all the great on line book clubs too. Right here we have 3 moderators from those other clubs, Lisa from Classics and Melissa from Literature by Women and of course yours truly from Fiction General Discussion, but there's more than just those clubs so be sure to try out Mystery, Romance, Paranormal and Science Fiction plus all the blogs. We're all here to make your stay at B&N a happy and enriching experience.

Hi!  My name is Michelle and I'm from Lake Charles area in Louisiana.  I'm hoping to be able to participate for the first time with First Look.  I'm an avid reader and love the opportunity to read new books and different authors.  My Dad got me started reading early and always has a stack (really about 10 stacks) of books to pass on when I visit.
