Re: Welcome and Introductions

I've never done one of these before, but the book sounds interesting, so I thought I'd give it a try.

I'm getting married this weekend. Probably won't get the book in time to read on our honeymoon. :smileysad: Oh well!!!!

Hello!  My name is Lynn, and if you guys accept me, this will be my first First Look.  I'm super excited about it.  I live in North Carolina, and I'm a home health nurse on third shift.  Since most of my patients are sleeping and I'm mostly watching monitors and intervening when needed, I get a LOT of time to read books.  I never leave home without my nook or a good hardcopy of a book to keep me company!  I'm looking forward to participating in this First Look, and hopefully more in the future!

Greetings to everyone.  This is my first time with a First Look, thank you Paul and Barnes and Noble.  I am a military wife, teacher, mom, and book lover.  I have always wondered how individuals read books before they were released...I hope to join that group with Three Seconds. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to read!

I'm a drama girl but I enjoy reading novels by Kristin Hannah, Janet Evanovich and Patricia Cornwell. I'm a fan of the Millennium Trilogy by Steig Larsson. If Three Seconds is like those novels, I will definitely enjoy it. I hope that I do receive a copy so I can start reading it. I look forward to discussing books with you.

Hi all, This looks like a great group. I've never done a First Look discussion but I did do some book groups back when B&N University existed and loved it. I'm Lisa in Ann Arbor -- a great little city. I'm a part time engineer, a part time writer, and a full time mom. I can't wait to get my hands on the book. I've been reading mostly ebooks lately and I somehow miss holding the real thing in my hands. But don't even try taking my ereader from me.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hello all,

I am Naomi and currently live at Fort Benning, GA. I love to read and among the 75 books I've read so far this year are Larsson's books and one by Mankell. I really like mysteries and crime fiction. I have a degree in Forensic Chemistry, but am currently working full time in the beverage and flavor industry.  This would be my first time joining a book discussion group of any kind. Besides reading, I like to quilt, and am an active member of postcrossing.com (postcard collecting/penpalling) and swap-bot.com where you can sign up for different swaps involving items you collect or craft. I have 2 daughters  (14 and 3) that keep me busy as well. But there is always time for reading!
