I am one who really did not miss not having  a time or place for the book. I just let my imagination fill in the blanks.

While reading of BEES and MIST I was not totally disturbed because there was no time or place to follow, I would be happy to now read a story with a real time frame and a setting that will be understandable.

I do hope that I will have the privilege to review Shandi Mitchell's Under This Unbroken Sky.

I think that writers with experience in screenwriting make great use of imagery, because they are used to expressing their thoughts in visual scenes instead of exposition. FYI. While surfing the net to find info on the Canadian prairies/tundra, I came across the name William Kurelek, a Ukrainian immigrant, painter and author, who returned to the Ukraine shortly before his death to paint his father's village.
