I couldn't get the link to work where it says "click here to write your review." Maybe it's a temporary problem. If anyone else has this problem, I was also able to get to it by clicking on the photo of the book.

I also had the same problem.  It took me awhile to figure out I could click on the book to do it.  THEN I saw your post.....:-)

  I couldn't get the link to work either but I could click on the picture and do my review that way. I couldn't get a link to post in my reply either so I just copy and pasted my review.  I kept forgetting to post on the website because I was so wrapped up in the characters and the book. I think analyzing this book piece by piece would have destroyed the enjoyment of this book for me.

Posted 08/23/09: I loved it! Once I started reading it I could not put it down. In addition to the historical value, there was drama, there was warmth, there was suspense, it was a complete package. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it highly.

This was a book that draws you into the story. You just want to continue to read on; because you get involved with the characters. Definitely, a book to be read again and again.

What a great read~!  I am sure I would not have chosen this book myself, but now will encourage my book club to choose this for a selection.  The setting is powerful and I think the characters could lend themselves to some great discussion.  Thanks for letting me be a part of this program!
