Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi! I sent my message a hour ago and so can't wait for my confirmation! This is my 2nd time for a First Look. This book isn't really something I ever read before, but I'll always try new things! I am also dicussing Crescendo and am enjoying it very much =) I have gotten many ARC books before, since I have my own channel/blog, where I do book reviews on. I have always loved books ever since I was 6. I also wish to become a author and book critic someday. I am very excited to talk about Vixen with all of you!

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi all,

My name is Tarri and I also live in "the other Washington" with my two dogs and hopefully soon the stray mamma kitty and her six kittens that I am feeding.  Wish my luck and send me tips on how to make them like and trust me, before I go broke buying toys, milk, and big cans of catfood.

I have participated in most of the FL books, I think I've missed two.  I love the variety, discovering new authors, and especially reading what all the participants have to say.  I learn so much by reading what everyone thinks.

My favorite classes were always history and, although I am not a teen, this book looks great.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hey all, my name is Chelsea and if I'm approved this will be my first FL book, and I'm kinda a lot excited about it.  I'm from central Ohio and I'm a sophomore at Miami University (of Ohio, though I really wished I lived in Washington State - the "other one" haha).  I'm majoring in Individualized Studies (which means I'm designing my own major) and minoring in Interactive Media Studies.  I read a ton of (read "a ton of" as "mostly") YA fiction, but really I read anything that's handed to me (as long as a good recommendation is attached to it).

Errrr... so yeah. I hope I get confirmed :smileyhappy: I'm excited to discuss the novel with you all!

Hello All! My name is Dawn and this is my 3rd FL book.  I also live in the rainy state of Washington, but I'm new to the Pacific Northwest! I've enjoyed the plesent summer and am defiantly not looking forward to the rain, but the good side of it is more time to read. I enjoy YA books a lot and am looking forward to reading Vixen and discussing it with all of you.  Happy reading! :smileyhappy:

Hi, I'm Julie from CA, where I live with my husband and two fur-kids.  I've just signed up for this one and hope I made the deadline!  It looks like a great story.  See you all soon!

Hi Dawn, it looks like you may need to get used to snow this year too.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

I hope not! I'm in the Seattle area and the natives say it doesn't snow in this area.  I grew up south of Chicago so I have no desire to see the pretty white stuff :smileytongue:

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi Everyone,

My name is Sheila from Central NJ.  This will be my 7th First Look book.  I am completely hooked on FL, more like addicted!, so I couldn't resist signing up again.  Is it too early to be on the look out for the big, brown truck?  Looking forward to the discussion with everyone.  I am currently reading Dracula for my library book club and luckily I have the discussion end/next week.

Re: Welcome and Introductions

Hi everyone!

If I am confirmed this is my second FL book.  I was so excited with the first one -FL - I read it non-stop practically :  I see this is a bit lighter and that excites me.

I love young reads because, while I am not considered young, I feel young at heart.  Good to get the feeling of a younger time yet past.

Hope to have dialogue with everyone

Re: Welcome and Introductions

to:  StewiesMom - I love your reference to your two fur-kids;  ditto; I live with the husband and our two fur-kids as well.  They are just like babies, a bit of high-maintanence after being empty-nestors.
