Re: 20 Questions

Looks like we might need to change the name of this thread to 50 questions instead of 20. how about a couple of hints, huh?

I personally am stumped and can't think of any more questions that haven't already been asked.

Re: 20 Questions

Haven't had time to pull the book off the shelf, but to sum up...

Something that Harry Used but didn't own.  First appeared in GoF and was in all the rest of the books/

Some magical thing, larger than a shoebox that "was in" GoF first and was in all the succeeding books.   It is not related to the Tri-Wizard Tournament or to Beaubattons or Durmstrang.

It is/was located in Hogwarts and some DH place, within the UK, that the Trio did not visit while on the run.

There's more than 1 of them.  Harry is the only one of the trio to have used it, but he doesn't own it.

NOTE:  Jules, regarding your summary...  I'm afraid you mis-read something.  No one ever asked me if it was in GoF.  The first mention was in Chamber of Secrets.

HINT:  Harry used it in a way and for a purpose that wasn't magical.

Re: 20 Questions

Oh no, sobbydobby will be mad at me when she sees this! My faulty reasoning on this led me to the assumption that it wasn't the vanishing cabinet. She exclaimed last night that it was the vanishing cabinet and I told her it probably wasn't that because I think of them as being made and used with dark magic simply because they exist in Borgin and Burkes.

Oh well, on a positive note, she will be thrilled that she did have the answer.

Sorry, sobbydobby! I've learned my lesson.

Way to go, Jules!
