Re: 20 Questions

[ Edited ]

I'm thinking of some things that are associated with Hogwarts.

  1.  Yes -- these things seen/mentioned more than once.

  2 - 4.  Yes -- they are mentioned in 1-3, 4-5 and 6-7.

  5.  No and Yes -- Can these things be put in a shoe box?  In their usual form they cannot be put in a shoebox, but in an un-ordinary form they could be put one.

  6.  No and Yes --  Are these things related to each other?   They are not related to each other in the usual sense of the word, but they are all the same kind of thing.

  7.  Yes -- Can these things be owned?  People would say "these are ours", but strictly speaking they are not owned as Harry owns his wand or Hogwarts owns the books in the library.

  8.  Yes, at least the ones I'm thinking of are in one specific place (ex.: Hogwarts, Diagon Alley).

  9.  'Yes,they are at Hogwarts.

10,  No, they are not any kind of portraits.

28.  Are they the passwords students use to get in the dorms/Dumbledore's office?

I think I'm throughly lost and confused :smileytongue: if that isn't it.  Maybe a hint would help since we're almost to #30.

28.  Yes,  they are the passwords students use to get in the dorms/Dumbledore's office -- as well as the prefect's bathroom, and the Chamber of Secrets, altho I'm not exactly sure whether that one is a password or spell.

Your are not confused at all!!!  Full marks for out-of-the-box-thinking!!!  It's all yours.

Re: 20 Questions

Lol.  Of course it was the only thing that made sense!  It was the correct thing.

1.  Is this person female?

2.  Is this person alive at any time during the saga?

3.  Is this person a muggle?

4.  Is this person clearly on the dark side?

5.  Is this person clearly on the good side?

Re: 20 Questions

1.  No, this person is not female.

2.  Yes, he is alive during the saga.

3.  No, this person is not a muggle.

4 and 5.  It never says that this person is on the dark or good side, but I would say he is on the good side.
