I'm thinking of a THING.
1. It is in most books, maybe even all.
2. It is in Book 1.
3. It is magical.
4. It can fit in a shoebox.
5. There is not more than one of them.
6. Harry used it.
7. It has been seen at Hogwarts.
8. It has been seen in the London area including Little Whinging.
9. Hermione does not use and/or own it.
10. Ron does not use and/or own it.
11. Dumbledore used and/or owned it.
12. No one besides Dumbledore on the Hogwarts staff used and/or owned it.
13. It is not Harry's Invisibility Cloak.
14. We never saw it used in the Hogwarts' library.
15. It has been seen and/or used in London City.
16. It has been seen and/or used in Little Whinging.
17. We have seen Dumbledore use it.
18. It was not seen in the first part of Book 1 (before Harry wakes up in the cupboard)
19. Harry and Dumbledore are not the only ones to use it.
20. Hogwarts is not the only place it has been seen.
21. I am not thinking of spectacles or eyeglasses.
22. Dumbledore used it in Book 1.
23. Dumbledore used it in Book 2.
24. Dumbledore used it in Book 3.
25. Dumbledore used it in Book 4.
26. Dumbledore used it in Book 5.
27. Dumbledore used it in Book 6.
28. Dumbledore was dead.
29. He did not use it at King's Cross.

That wasn't a question -- it was a request for a "clarification" of your answer. ![]()

oops. There's no need to use quotes around "it", though. It is made of solid matter. And, now that I think about it, he might have used it in one of the Pensieve scenes in that last book.

1 Is it a dark spell?
2 Does Harry use it?
3 Do we encounter it in books 1-3 (PS, CoS or PoA)?
4 Does any of the Hogwarts Staff use it?
5 Does Harry teach it to the DA?

6. Do we know the incantation or name of the spell (versus us trying to guess only the effect) ?

14. Is this an everyday kind of spell? By this I mean is it a spell that someone would use to tidy up something? (ex. Would Molly Weasley use the spell?)
15. Is it a silly spell that is meant for jokes? (ex. would Fred or George use the spell?)
