Re: 20 Questions

I'm thinking of a thing that's really not there.

1-7.   It is only mentioned in book 7.

   8.   No, it does not exist in the mind of a Lovegood.

I'm afraid my hint is leading you astray.  It really exists.  Don't make too much of it.  Perhaps it will be amusing when the answer is revealed :smileywink:

   9.  No, it is as there as it can be. (The Q was  If it exists but is not there, is it somewhere else?)

10.  No, it is not magical, as least according to my definition of magic, but you might argue with me.

11.  No, it is not tangible.

12.  No, it is not a concept, like "The Trace".

13.  No, it is not associated with  the Ministry.

14.  No, it is not the King's Cross Station in Harry's mind when he is between life and death.

15.  Yes, it can be seen.  Or at least, that it exists can be seen.

16.  No, it is not a ghostly something, like, for instance, the Bloody Baron's chains.

17.  No, it is not in the King's Cross chapter of the book.

18.  Yes, it can be seen.  Or at least, that it exists can be seen.

19.  No, it is not the Nothingness (the place where magical stuff disappears to- the answer that McGonagall gave to the Ravenclaw riddle).

Marvelous answers!  But what I am thinking of is just one unique example in a class of everyday things in both universi.

20.  No, it is not associated with the Room of Requirment.

21.  Yes, it is at Hogwarts.

22.  No, it is not something that moved around with H,H, and R.

23.  No, we do not see it in the Room of Requirement.

24.  Yes, we see it during the battle(s) at Hogwarts.

25.  No, it is not a kind of protection, like Nagini's bubble.

26.  No, it is not associated with Voldemort.  At lease only in a verry, verry distant, distant way, so don't even think about it.

27.  JKR never said whether was created by magic or was just circumstantial.

28.  CORRECTION   YES  we DO see it in the first battle of Hogwarts. (before Harry "died"). CRRECTION

29. Yes, it has something to do with Snape.

30. No, it does not have anything to do with Ravenclaw.

31. No, it is not Snape's memories.

32. No, it is not  mentioned/seen in Snape's memories.

33. No, we do not see anyone in the Trio use it.  In fact, The Trio never used it.

34. Yes, we see Snape use it.  As far as we know, Snape is the only one who used it.  Actually, he made it.

Congradulations tikanique!   This question kept some very knowledgable and Potter-wise experts at bay for a while.

It's now your turn to ask a question.  Such rules as we have are on page 1 of this thread.

Re: 20 Questions

7  Do we see it around Diagon Alley?

8  Are you thinking of one particular thing as opposed to many similar thing?  Like Harry's wand vs. all wands in general?

9  Do we know what color it is?

I'm thinking of a spell for enemies that makes you bleed violently and that Harry found in a special book and used on Malfoy.

Re: 20 Questions

[ Edited ]

Sorry Dan21, but we've already got a question going that tikanique started on the 14th.  We'll have to disregard your question unless and until you answer tikanique's correctly.

In the meantime, please continue to play but asking Q's that lead the answer.  You may put more than 1 Q in a post.  See Page 1 for the rules, such as thy are.

Re: 20 Questions

Well, if no one wants to answer Dan, then I will proceed. (in the manner of Hermione - raising hand) "I know! I know! Sectumsempra!"

LOL, Dan! If only they were all that easy! I would give you 100 laurels for that one if I could.

Re: 20 Questions

He calls her Mollywobbles.

This thread works a little dirrerently from the trivia quiz.   It's an old game that has been around for many years.  It used to be played on the radio B4 there was B&W TV!

The person asking the question thinks of something in the Potter books, tells only if it is a person (human being),  a place, a thing or a potion.  Then the rest try to figure out who/what/where it is by asking questions that can be answered Yes or No.

The rules are on page 1 of the thread.  You can ask several questions in the same post.

Just backread a bit and you'll get the idea.

Wanna ask the question?
