Yep; it's supposed to, KT.  Plus even more "new" material, supposedly taken from Dumbledore's "archives" willed after he died.  Ha.  The book's listed as having 128 pages.  Fun stuff!

Oh, MrsRW, you forget that the original verion of the "Three brothers vs. Death" story will most likely be in there.  And also...  a bore from JKR is impossible.

I think I understood what you meant, mum. I think there will be somewhat of an anticlimactic quality to it as it will be related to HP, but we won't be seeing our favorite characters. I will still buy it and enjoy it, I am sure, but it will bother me a bit.

Is there going to be a midnight party for it?

Ha!  You know, I hadn't thought of that.  I suspect not--but you never know!  :smileyhappy:

(I do see on my calendar that Dec. 4th is a Thursday--which would be a school night for most children).

Well, as the guy in the trenches in the B&N store, we haven;t heard anything about parties yet. I would imagine that most stores, like mine here in a mall (I changed stores recently to one closer to my house!) would have a tough time preping for a party in the middle of holiday rushes.. we put alot of hard work into the parties. ANd tend to need more time to plan then this :smileyhappy:

HA! Who cares if it has none of the usual characters?! It's all about more insight into the wizarding world! It shall explain (or cast more doubt/discussion upon) many stories and legens from the series.  I'm talking about characters' hidden pasts, or urban wizard legends uncovered! Just as exciting, and just as intriguing.  I suppose there will be a new thread just for discussing Beedle the Bard.

And I shall be there!

Ok.  Inquiring minds want to know.  How many of you have pre-ordered Beedle?

Hi Connie!

I have to say I didn't pre order Beedle, but however I do plan to pick up the book on the day it is released.

I wonder though, should I be re-reading Deathly Hallows to be re-freshed and ready for Beedle?
