Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Dreaming on: future titles you would like to read about,.

[ Edited ]
Going crazy with Pottermania, we must succumb ourselves to every possibility that the great Miss Rowling will take notice and read our threads.. and from our ideas she may be able to adapt to the brilliance of the greath PotterFans here . We’ll never know, she may be as sad as we are ..of this bittersweet ending to welcome Harry’s beginning .

Ms JKR: oh what utter boredom the shows on ze telly are… I shall surf the net and see whats new onMySpace/.
Upon chcking out new MySpace friends, JKR comes across a most interesting idea! Ive heard Potterfans in Barnes and Nobles have the greatest Potter worthy ideas there are! shall check if the rumours are indeed, true….

Go crazy! You all have in your minds an ideal ending, why not think of something huge. If you were given the chance to entitle one book for Harry Potter, say, books 8, 9, 10, 200,500… what would it be? isnt this what were all dreaming about, more Potter Books to come?
ps ill be out for two days guys. ill miss you! huhu

Personall I want "Hogwarts:A Future" so we can get a few adventures back at school. "The Auror Diaries" could be great for Harry as well. And of course "Judge Hermione" hehe :smileyhappy:

I like that! : ) Ok seriously, here's what we need. We need Rowling to make a horcrux (KIDDING! KIDDING! JKR if you're reading this, I'm really just kidding, I would never think you would split your soul, much less murder a person, this is only a joke. This is only a test. For the next 30 seconds....Anyway, back to my point(less dribble)... She needs to make a diary and then we can all buy a copy (after standing in line shivering with excitement), that when we asked it ANY question about the Harry Potter world, it would reveal the answer : )

What I would like is for Jo to go through the old Boards, find our theories, and comment on them! The first thousand or so would be good for a laugh; after that I'm afraid it would be tough sledding.

"Hogwarts: The Next Generation"
Featuring the new trio of Albus, Rose and Albus's cooky side kick Baldwin who over the course of 7 books, forms a deep loving relationship with Rose....lol...but not before ALbus snogs Baldwin's little sister Minnie. (that or maybe...you know...something more original:smileytongue:

That would probably take no more than a paragraph.

Peeves the Poltergeist: His Road to Musical Fame

Come on, it could happen! I for one would very much enjoy a CD with hits like "Wee Potter's the One" and "Oh Potter, You Rotter"!

Oh, and here's another one I just thought of, similar to "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them" and "Quidditch Through the Ages."

Re: Dreaming on: future titles you would like to read about,.

These are all great great ideas! I especially like the blank diary and it will automatically answer our HP questions. My idea is not as creative, I just want to have Snape's side of the story (and he has never really been a favorite character of mine).
