What to you mean by "mistakes"?
Are we talking simple printing errors and other errata?
Infidelity with "real world" facts?
Or descriptions/statements/occurrences that are later ignored or contradicted by other parts of in-series continuity?

What I meant was--"Or descriptions/statements/occurrences that are later ignored or contradicted by other parts of in-series continuity?"

This is not in Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone.
In Book5, when Hagrid has the dragon steak over his eye, Harry describes a drop of green blood on the steak. Then, in Book 6, Professor what-his-name (not Dumbledore, Proffesor Slughorn) says the blood on his walls is dragon's blood, even though JK described the blood on the walls as red.
There are some others, but I can't think of them right now.
