Most Annoying character

After reading all these, I remebered some more.  I agree with those who find Mundungus annoying.  I also find myself annoyed with Cho Chang.  I don't know, maybe it was the lack of her having a storyline, I kind of feel like she was not really necessary to the story, but I guess being Harry's first "girlfriend" or whatever she was, she brought something to the story.

Yeah, I understand that frustration. We all just wanted Harry to be happy given his circumstances. Who knew how much time he had to live.

I totally agree with Colin he was a pest! But I think the most annoying character was Wormtail, he needed to be in the story, but he just got on my nerves!

I think it's a tie between Gilderoy Lockhart and Dolores Umbridge. I couldn't stand either of them! However, Gilderoy was a bit more comical. Umbridge was just plane evil!

Yes, Bellatrix was insane, but that's why we must love her!

And Snape? Don't even get me started! I love Snape to death! Especially after DH! When I read his memories, I cried like crazy! And I never cry!

Lockhart...well...I admit he got annoying, but it was comical

I honestly couldn't stand Pansy Parkinson! I felt like she was one of those petty bullies that everyone disliked. Doesn't J.K. Rowling even say in her books that her voice is unpleasant and annoying? I haven't read the books in awhile, so I may be making that up.

haha, I just thought about this, Cornelius Fudge is so annoying, no one in this whole bullitan thought he was important enough to remmember... These characters take a life of there own, the good things, and the bad...

Welcome, Ishy, if I haven't welcome you to the Harry Potter Book Club before!  Ha--I agree with you that both of these characters are annoying, and I also agree that Umbridge was the worse of the two.  I didn't like her AT ALL.  Torturing the kids, taking over the school.  Errgh!  Gilderoy, I found funny, until it turned out he was also a lier.  Me don't like liers.

Yes, Jaya.  She was described several times as looking pug-faced.  Which makes us wonder what Draco saw in her, doesn't it?  Was it just that Pansy thought herself so beautiful that Draco bought it?  Or is there a way to be pug-faced and still pretty?

Well, something I've noticed from my teenager-dom is that people tend to date people in their "league." So, if Draco was like a 6 and Pansy was around that too, then they would find each other attractive, especially if they are both pure bloods. Plus, we hear nothing of Pansy's wealth, that could have an effect as well.

Thanks for welcoming me! Yeah, I hated fudge because he let Voldemort gain so much power by rather believing harry was insane, and dumbledore senile, then to believe that Voldemort was back. He was so unbelievably arrogant and blind. Yeah, I know, I'm crazy for hating someone imaginary like that. haha, my family makes fun of me about it all the time...

I thought all of the rich, snobby Slytherins were really annoying, but that worked for making the readers hate them.  Colin Creevey takes the plate in my book, his character kind of faded towards the end of the series and I'm pretty sure he died during the final battle, which is good in my opinion.  Anyone else hate Colin as much as I did?

No, I think Collin has a good heart. To imagine him-- so tiny-- being killed in the battle of Hogwarts would be utterly horrifying. So thats why I like to think of him as one of those who escaped through the portrait.

I think the most annoying character is professor feltch. I didn't like how he jumped to conclusions and blamed Harry for killing his cat, (his cat freaks me out)

The most annoying character for me was Rita Skeeter, with her "I don't care that what I'm writing may and will most likely ruin your life" attitude. Even though Hermione found out her unregistered Animagus status, that STILL didn't stop her from going on to twisting facts in her articles (although Hermione only managed to get Skeeter to stop writing for only a year...it'd be nice if she got her to stop writing forever!)
