Harry was not the only person Snape abused.  We were just talking about Harry's treatment in particular.

A 5-year old acting the way Snape did should have been corrected. 

Behavior such as his should not be excused/accepted. 

By anyone. 

Including Dumbledore.

I completely agree. I don't think Snape or Sirius ever got out of their teenage years. lol but they are both well deserved respected characters. And Dumbledore should not have aloud Snapes behavior, but he also wasn't always there so didn't really see. What could he really do? Anyway I don't think Snape would completely listen to him. He'd probably just be more sneaky about it.

but Dumbledore was the greatest wizard in the world!  He could have done any number of things.  Like, he could have made Snape's hair go all greasy whenever he was nasty to a student.
