Since 1997, you’ve been coming to BarnesandNoble.com to discuss everything from Stephen King to writing to Harry Potter. You’ve made our site more than a place to discover your next book: you’ve made it a community. But like all things internet, BN.com is growing and changing. We've said goodbye to our community message boards—but that doesn’t mean we won’t still be a place for adventurous readers to connect and discover.

Now, you can explore the most exciting new titles (and remember the classics) at the Barnes & Noble Book Blog. Check out conversations with authors like Jeff VanderMeer and Gary Shteyngart at the B&N Review, and browse write-ups of the best in literary fiction. Come to our Facebook page to weigh in on what it means to be a book nerd. Browse digital deals on the NOOK blog, tweet about books with us,or self-publish your latest novella with NOOK Press. And for those of you looking for support for your NOOK, the NOOK Support Forums will still be here.

We will continue to provide you with books that make you turn pages well past midnight, discover new worlds, and reunite with old friends. And we hope that you’ll continue to tell us how you’re doing, what you’re reading, and what books mean to you.

Our Month-by-Month Schedule

Welcome to the conversation! This "month-by-month" discussion of the first six Harry
Potter novels is officially scheduled to begin on Monday, January 15th, and for the remainder of January we'll discuss Harry Potter and the Sorceror's Stone (Philosopher's Stone for readers with British editions).

On February 5th (the first Monday of the month), we'll move our
focus to a conversation about Harry Potter and the Chamber of
Secrets
.

We'll have some discussion questions prepared for each book, but of
course you'll be encouraged to add your own topics to the mix.

The schedule after that will be roughly like this:

March: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
April: Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire
May: Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
June: Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

Whether you're new to Harry or re-reading these great adventures for the hundredth time, please join us on this exciting reading journey.

Re: Our Month-by-Month Schedule

Since the only book I've actually "read" is SS, this is a good time to read the books for the first time. My only experience with HP is through JD (Jim Dale!). I'm on my nth listening of OoP, taking my time.

Re: Our Month-by-Month Schedule

Greetings rkubie. I am a newbie to on-line chat, and this presents a wonderful opportunity to join the vast number of HP fans for an in-depth discussion of the books
leading up to the release of the final installment. I just finished another amazing trilogy, and I planned on rereading all of the HP books prior to the release of the final book. I will have some "catching up" to do; however, I am completely fired up about sharing with everyone else our thoughts, and insights regarding this most magical, and enchanting story about a boy coming of age, discovering who he is, and ultimately, searching for his destiny.

Cheers Harry!
